Eponyms (names referring to a person) are consistently written as a single word, e.g. ‘Audouinmeeuw’ rather than ‘Audouins meeuw’, as prescribed by Dutch language rules. The Dutch names are also listed on the relevant species list B, together with sister West Germanic languages: la/de/nl/fy/af/lb.
